It’s been an egregiously long time between Friday updates – there’s a bit of a backlog to cover:

• What’s a big problem with online guitar tablature? There are no time indications. Songsterr aims to fix that. Finally – cool stuff.

• T-Bone Burnett pushes ΧΟΔΕ, a 24-bit/96kHz DRM-free audio format designed to play on consumer DVD players. The format makes a lot more sense than SACDs, but it’s a bit puzzling why it’s being pushed as a radically different medium.
